We provide training in research skills and software to researchers of all experience levels. Our training will enable you to work smarter, and help you produce an outstanding piece of research that will impress your examiners and peer reviewers. Courses are taught by experienced researchers – we don’t just teach research, we’re actively engaged in the process ourselves and understand the challenges involved.

Note that the majority of our live online and face-to-face courses are on hold until there is more certainty regarding alert levels in 2021 – you’re welcome to register your interest for these. That doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on our training however – all of our most popular training content is now available on-demand as part of our new Research Accelerator membership. We’re offering this as a cost-effective and time-efficient way for you access the training you need – there are multiple ways to ask questions about the content, regular live sessions for members, and full training notes and exercise files are provided.
We’re also happy to run any of our courses specifically for your organisation/research team or can arrange an appointment with you to take you through the content of a training course on an individual basis – contact us to discuss your requirements. You can pay either by credit card or via invoice. If paying online with a credit card, your place will be confirmed instantly and you’ll be emailed a GST receipt once the transaction completes. If you choose to pay by invoice, you'll be sent an invoice by email that you can pay by internet banking (your place will only be confirmed once payment has been received).
Any of our training courses can be run as a one-on-one session – this can be arranged at a time convenient to you, either face-to-face or online. Contact us to discuss this further. Alternatively, the majority of our training courses are offered on-demand as part of our Research Accelerator membership – this may be a more convenient way for you to learn the material.
Our face-to-face training is held in our Auckland CBD office – Level 2, Southern Cross Building, 59 High Street. The best car parking option is Victoria Street Car Park (immediately opposite our building), and Britomart is just a 10-minute walk away if you’re arriving by bus or train. Note that if you’ve enrolled in a face-to-face training course through your University, you will need to contact them directly for venue details.
Researchers at all stages of the research process, from novice researchers through to those with experience who need to learn a new skill for a specific project. Course attendees are from a wide range of disciplines, and while many of those we work with are from academic backgrounds, we also assist corporate and public sector researchers.

Cancellations or postponements must be notified at least two working days prior to the day of the course. Refunds will incur an administration charge of $50. Cancellations received within two working days will not be refunded. You are welcome to send a colleague in your place if you are no longer able to attend.
